Before last night’s Survivor 2014 reward challenge could start, the contestants were instructed to drop their buffs. New tribes were formed!
New tribes:
Blue: Josh, Jeremy, Reed, Wes, Alec, Julie, and Natalie. (All singles one pair)
Yellow: Kellie, Missy, Baylor, Jon, Dale, Jacalyn, and Keith. (All pairs one single)
There was no reward challenge, the new tribes went back to camp. Back at the camps:
- Blue tribe had no food
- Yellow tribe had a lot of food
- Jon and Jacalyn were very lovey dovey now that they were on the same tribe
- Keith worried about being the one non pair on his team, but has an idol.
- Missy made too much rice and fed the tribe twice in one day (which is why her former tribe has no rice left), upsetting Dale
- Natalie and Jeremy tried to pull Alec into their alliance against Josh and Reed.
Immunity challenge: the tribes had to dig up a bag of keys, crawl through mud, open a gate, shake loose sand bags and land 10 sand bags on a wobbly platform. The blue tribe was halfway done with the challenge before yellow even got their keys. By time yellow finally got to the final leg of the challenge, blue team had all their sandbags landed. Blue team won immunity on last night’s Survivor 2014.
Before going back to camp, the blue tribe asked Jeff to bargain with them. They have only one scoop of rice left and are paying for the former tribes mistakes with portioning. Jeff agreed to work something out with them. Survivor 2014 is the season of bargaining!
Going into tribal council, Jon and Jacalyn had all the power. Both pairs wanted them, and they got to choose a side. Missy and Baylor don’t get along with Dale and Kelley because of Baylor and Dale’s prior issues on Survivor 2014. Jon and Jacalyn decided to go with mother and daughter. Kelley was eliminated on Survivor 2014 last night.
